This track is designed for individuals that want to go a step beyond the Sustainable Building Sales Professional Track. It gives you the knowledge about the science and technical overview of sustainable building and what makes a project truly sustainable.

This course was designed to address basic issues related to buying, selling and maintaining a Sustainable Property (residential and commercial). You will learn what the key questions to ask. What is the consumer looking for in a green certified home? Learn what Greenwashing is and why it is important that you know the difference. 

GoSBT Environmental Quality Advantage - Learn about indoor and outdoor environmental issues surrounding a property. Such as site selection, development density, landscaping, chemical and pollutant source control, low-emitting materials, ventilation effectiveness, thermal comfort, and monitoring systems. You will learn how and why each area is important to green building.

GoSBT Resource Efficiency Advantage - Learn about energy, water and material resource technologies. Learn how to reduce utility costs and save natural resources. Learn about the features and benefits of home and commercial property certifications.

GoSBT Sustainable Preventative Maintenance - Learn about maintaining a green property the how-to and why of property ownership. Develop a maintenance plan for a Sustainable Property and learn how to implement your plan. Learn about innovative products and technologies available today and in the future.

GoSBT Advanced Green Technologies  – This course is for SBTP track only.  Learn about current technologies used in sustainable building. What will the future of sustainable building will look like and how will society change. How structures will differ from consuming energy to providing energy, not only creating a zero energy environment. Learn how being part of the solution to our energy needs can be an exciting new frontier.

Learning Management System (LMS)

Course will be distributed via a LMS that will help you track your progress and scores on course quizzes. Upon completion you will receive a SBTP certification certificate.
